The small budget meant efficiency in every area: a roll-up door provides deck access to the east, two-story acrylic panels provide light and ventilation to the west and fire-rated (“windoors”) on the north and south walls flip up on gas lifts for interstitial light and ventilation where typical windows don’t meet code.
